My first Insta360 X3 video - Ride to Cycle Gear Pleasanton's Bike Night 04/11/23
I'm finally able to get shots of myself and my friends with the Insta360 X3!
One of the initial reasons I bought a drone was to get the previously mentioned shots (of myself and my friends in action), but it's autonomous flight features don't track a fast moving subject very well and when flying manually, you can't really do anything else but focus on flying.
Setting up shots like pulling over somewhere and leaving a GoPro off to the side of the road, or having the drone hover in place was too much work and sort killed the moment/fun. Then you have to ride past it, then ride back to get it, assuming it's still there...
Even though the 360 cam gets expensive fast, it is worth it for the ease of use and shots it can capture (don't need to worry about framing shots).

I powder coated my Desmond Regamaster Evos!

If you watched the previous video, you could probably tell that I did not like the color of my Desmond Regamaster Evos. So, I decided to get them powder coated. I took the wheels over to Finish Logic in Concord, and I am glad I did. Got rid of the horrid Almighty Grey (Green) and got them powder coated Midnight Metallic, which looks black mostly, but hints blue in bright conditions.

You need to mount it as far up the system as possible to be more efficient.
I was cited by CHP on State Route 138 passing Silverwood Lake in my WRX, officer went to pull over the bike in front of me and decided also to have me pull over as well. Could I argue that he based my speed on the bike in front of me? Officer stated he had me at 81 in a 55 which I don't think I was going that fast, He also made a time mistake on the ticket like yours is in the video. So do I have to call the court before I decide to go with TBWD? Or can I simply just print out the (205) Form fill it out and send it to the court with my evidence and bail? My case is with Superior Court of San Bernardino and my paperwork that I got in the mail for my ticket looks much different compared to yours in the video. I'd def would like to dodge this bullet if I can and I appreciate your opinion if I should fight or not!
@@reillypritchett1454 I would fight it, for sure! There are a number of things you could argue. You could always contact a ticket lawyer too, like Ticket Ninja. Worst case, they find you guilty and then you are subject to whatever punishment they throw at you, so imo you might as well try and fight rather than admit guilt. As for the options on how to plead, I’m not sure. The court clerk would probably have some better information for you. If you do decide to hire a ticket lawyer, they handle everything on your behalf, for a fee though.

Resonators are overrated, they really don't do much. I have tried several so called resonators on different setups and to be honest, to me it was a waste of time and money. Some resonators work a bit better but it all depends on construction, pipe size, length, so on and so for. The J pipe configuration might do something for your car , but your exhaust will look like a plumbing job. Just my 1 cent cuz I owe the other cent to the IRS!

I don’t have the S14 anymore, unfortunately. I currently have an E46, that needs a lot of work before it gets on track. Might get something else, just so I can get back on the track sooner.

if you rode the speed limit (65) in cali you would end up dead on the road cause no one other than semi's go 65 after a speeding ticket I tried riding 65 and it scared the shit out of me to have cars whipping by me at 80-85+ because that's what nearly EVERYONE goes. Cali sets a 65 limit solely for the purpose of being able to pull over anyone at any time. Basically it gives them a "reason" for any other traffic stop.

she said something like "I'm writing this but using his (another cop) record of your speed. This is totally legit way to do it. Happens all the time. eg, guy with radar on a bridge radioing to cops behind a wall who go out and write it up. Airplanes who do the speed estimate and radio down to cops on the hwy.

It's hilarious how many people say mufflers are too restrictive when people have show on a dyno that you can take the muffler off a car and you MIGHT gain 2-3hp even with a v8. So if you want to be able to hear yourself think, just put a flowmaster or dynomax on there with a little packing and it will only rob you of a few ponies and you'll actually be able to hear the radio. If it's a racecar why do you have mufflers at all lol, gut it and open pipe it.
Did you have a mandatory appearance because I recently got one and I have a mandatory appearance can I still do a trial by declaration?

So, when someone clips you on your bike with their car, are you going to post a UA-cam video complimenting them and bragging about them for weaseling out of the charges - just because a cop makes a couple of clerical errors. I don't necessarily blame you for trying to avoid the penalties of your violation. BUT, bragging about breaking the law and getting away with it is childish - grow the Hell up!
I actually already made a video about me getting hit by a drunk driver while I was a stop light on my motorcycle. Driver said I ran a red light and cut him off, my video proves otherwise. I did not compliment the driver, nor did I bad mouth them in anyway. They were charged with a felony, but avoided any financial responsibility for my medical expenses because they had no assets. I had to come out of pocket for all of my medical expenses that my insurance didn’t cover. So in a way they, “weaseled”, themselves out of financial responsibility. Your interpretation of bragging may be misconstrued. I’m just providing an informational video.
Just take off, if the cops cannot chase someone who smashed a car window and is speeding away with passports, plane tickets and other important documents. Then they 100% cannot justify chasing you. I stop, but that tought is in the back of my mind.

I got a speeding ticket last Friday for driving at 94 on 65. My friend suggests to use ticket ninjia for fight back, so I did. I haven't got the mail from court yet.

@@fgxsavvent It is legit. Basically they have will write Trial by Written Declaration for you and you will sign and mail.
I just got one on Monday at the twisties in socal nailed me at 98+ but wrote me down for 78+ on a 65 maybe because I pulled over right away and didn’t give him a hard time
Those cheaper places like ticket ninja ect I would not trust to keep points off your record i hired an actual traffic lawyer 500 buks and you do absolute nothing he does everything for you he sends you updates goes to court for you and I know this because it is not my first speeding ticket it is going to be my 3rd one 😂

I go to Fremont on Wednesday to plead jot guilty for a ticket I got from Livermore PD on April 26. They'll then schedule a trial. He pulled me and another car over at the same time. I didn't know the person in front of je. He said he stopped the car in front of me for doing 60 in a 45 and said he stopped me because I was right behind the car he assumed I was doing the same.This was a motorcycle officer. He flashed his lights on the car in front of me and through his hand out telling me to pull over. On the ticket he doesn't have an exact speed. It says >60. The way I remember it was the car was well ahead of me and they were slamming on their breaks when they saw the cop in the suicide lane with his radar. I attempted to get around the car when I realized they were on their breaks and I was starting to get too close. But I stayed behind the car when I realized there was a cop in the suicide lane and so I didn't want to endanger him by being too close to him

I like the fact that the suspension has a wide range of adjustment, compression and rebound for front and rear as well as preload for the rear. Long travel absorbs pot holes and hopping off of curbs just fine. Performance, I felt like it was a bit down on power. So, I got an exhaust, removed the lid for the intake, got an 02 eliminator to compensate fuel wise, and a larger rear sprocket (+2). I have a header that I’m waiting to install as well. Maintenance intervals are long, which is nice. I’ve been liking the bike, have fun on it every time I take it out!

To put it as far out as possible. By the time it came to fighting the ticket, it was like 6 months later. Cop hopefully would have forgotten most or all of the details by then, if they had chosen to participate.

Yeah, that was a smarter move. Typically lose (financially) when it comes to the dealer. Nice thing for me at least is the 5 year warranty lol. Longest warranty I’ve ever had on a bike!

The DNA filter was available It looks like a knn. Makes a surprising difference. More than I thought it would.

Just got a ticket this morning for the first time ever :| 92 in a 65 off near mountain view. Sucks. Going to probably do the trial by written declaration before calling any traffic lawyers. Don't want to be a normie and accept defeat in court + traffic school. Court date scheduled for 5/18/23 all the way in Morgan Hill. Question: what happens if the trial by by written declaration comes back and you are found guilty? Would that then be a good time to lawyer up and go to court?
Probably would need to ask a lawyer that question, but I believe you can appeal a guilty verdict. I assume it would be a more difficult process after an initial verdict has been given. Good luck in your fight and I hope you win!

Rivian needs to make a drag mode. This could unlock the full potential of the truck with no speed limiter. Could be for controlled track only with some type of unlock key that could be used at the strip by an official that has been licensed. This could make Rivian not liable. Oh well dream on ...at least someone could hack and remove the limiter?
I agree that there should be some type of mode which allows you to raise the speed limiter. 110mph is a little too low IMO.

Not Legal Advice, just my opinion. I mean if you plead Guilty or No Contest (also guilty) you’ll have to pay the fine and take the point. If you plead Not Guilty you at least have a chance to get out of the ticket. Worst case, if they find you guilty, you pay the fine and take the point against your license. Whether it was a traffic cam ticket or hand written, you still have the ability to contest it. Innocent until PROVEN guilty. If you plead not guilty, they’ll have to put in the time and provide proof that you are guilty. Might as well try in my opinion! @@xXDerpyGlowiXx you’ll probably have to wait until the ticket comes in to see what your options are. They may offer a plea deal, where if you plead guilty they’ll give you the option for traffic school. If you decide to plead Not Guilty and opt for trial by written declaration, you’ll need to provide a case for why you’re innocent. Or you can hire a ticket lawyer to represent on your behalf.
